Listen. The only way you can become a good writer is by being a shitty writer and doing it anyways. You can’t magically become a good writer by having a machine do some of the work for you. That just makes you a fraud.

In my current work, I point to the invasion of Iraq 2003 as a moment where the public's trust in the foundational ideals of democracy, verification, deliberation, and accountability were systematically betrayed, destroying their trust in democratic systems.
Its nice the kids get to experience their own 2003 style build-up to an unjust war like we did.

Some would say it’s awkward for your business partner to have murdered and dismembered a columnist for your media property. But Bezos seems to be pretty over the Post’s interests, at least where they collide with the bottom line for Amazon.
Pretty incredible that Jeff Bezos' Amazon announced a "$5 billion-plus" partnership w/ a Saudi AI co launched by Mohammed Bin Salman and sent CEO Andy Jassy to meet with him less than 7 years after MBS murdered Jamal Khashoggi, a columnist for Bezos' Washington Post.

If you think it's normal for the ACLU to file emergency lawsuits in more than 90 federal judicial districts, as Lee Gelernt testified in front of Judge Boasberg last night, it is NOT. (🙏🏼 ACLU!)

Nor is it normal for the Supreme Court to issue orders at 1 am.

Truly unprecedented times.
