AI has ruined image serach for me now. Its just 90% AI gen stuff now, and its all such bad stuff too, like lowest quality everywhere.. None of the "no ai" toggles work either. Just awful, we need to abandon this endpoint of internet and make a new one.

I don’t know if anyone else notices or cares, but when I see a presentation in which the speaker uses obviously generated-AI images to illustrate their slides, it makes me immediately less confident in whatever other content they’re presenting.

I'm a committee member a v. cool PhD on GPU e-waste/thermocultures, which includes some research-creation elements. This means that I got an atari punk synth in the mail made out of old GPU boards, with a fan/light sensor element added in.

On the one hand, Reddit explodes every time a single asset in anything game-related is found to be AI, on the other the billionaire CEOs with massive AI investments are saying all the normal people they know don't care about AI use. It's hard to draw any conclusions as to which might be true.
