‘Bikelanes’ must be SAFE for AAA: All Ages & Abilities.

Cities must ban (and enforce it) vehicles that are too big, too heavy, too fast.
Those e-motorcycles endanger people riding bicycles. Many stop riding, others do if necessary & risk lives.
Cities: act! SAFE for all riders.

We have completely normalised investment in congestion, pollution and the continuation of car-first planning, writes Ciarán Cannon.

The “problem” with vaccines? They so effective at preventing deaths that they create generations of people that question whether disease was a problem in the first place because they have never experienced the horrors of a world without vaccines.

This is a "Surron type e-bike". Top speed 75km/h.

Absolutely not an e-bike under Irish law, which is a pedal cycle with pedal-assist 25km/h.

My thoughts are with the young girl and her family, as well as hopes for her speedy recovery — and that the young man arrested faces the fullest of the law.

Theres a small river running through our school grounds that we use for geography and science practicals. But thanks to a pump failure it was polluted with sewage this week. Disgraceful. Decades of neglect coming home to roost.

We had hoped this interview would reassure us that the current government is committed to prioritising road safety, active and public transport, and making our transport system a source of health and wellbeing. It did not.

That is simply not good enough.

The decision (to walk away) “in no way reflects a lack of commitment to climate action”

I’m increasingly amazed by the neck of some PR people who will tell outright lies with a straight face.

I raised this issue a while back on a Labour Party members forum (after Alan Kelly opened a McD). They didn’t react well. But childhood obesity in Ireland is a real problem, you can’t say your in favour of tackling it and then go around promoting junk food providers.
