I have a series of short plays (my "Non-Fungible" cycle) that take on very of the moment tech issues... and that world moves so fast that the first play, and its evisceration of NFTs, is now definitively set in early 2022. It's fascinating to watch things become period pieces as you write them.

I've had folks tell me they write for the demographics of the city they live in, and others because they don't see themselves in stories and want to write authentically. You can reply to the thread, noodle on it, or use the #newplay hashtag.
