This is the perfect way to describe the difficulty of the original hollow knight with how exploration was more tightly knit in a perfectly designed map where all major upgrades and combat abilities weren't missable

the ashes of the damned bossfight is still shit the nerfs didnt do anything because the bossfight at its core is so fucking poorly designed this is a terrible way to start off the year for easter eggs
