Spoilers for Utawarerumono Mask of Deception in alt
After the invasion Tuskur the story picked in such a way that I ended up playing all the way till the end LOL. I’m emotional and it’s hard to put my thoughts in order but that stretch of the game is amazing and I would go as far to say that the last 10 or so hours of the game is better than the entirety of Prelude lol. I 100% think Woshis is behind the entire thing but it seems like half the 8 pillars are also plotting something on their own. Which I really like. The ending itself is wonderful and honestly I think there was no better way to end it. By far my favorite scene is Kuon leaving and Haku not being able to chase after her and tell the truth. The yearning in the next game is gonna be crazy. The last scene between Kuon and Oboro is also another favorite as well as “Oshtor’s” speech. To be real just any scene from Oshtor fight with Vurai onwards is just incredible stuff. There wasn’t really a lot I disliked about the game. It did feel shorter than Prelude and I felt like there was a lot less battles. The game is primarily set up for the 3rd one and that doesn’t bother me too much. There was no structure to my rambling but I really did love this game and i’m excited for the next. My top 5 characters were: Haku, Kuon, Nekone, Anju, and Oshtor/Ukon. Haku is awesome I putting all my stocks into him.

I think i’ve reached the halfway point in Uta MOD. Once we reached Tuskur the plot has been ramping up like crazy

I said it over on the bird app but I do like how Mask of Deception is progressing over prelude. I don’t remember laughing this much when playing that one
