Feminized labor exploitation patterns have spread beyond their original categories. When real grievances can't be understood through available discourse, they get articulated incoherently. This delegitimizes the grievances themselves. Their dismissal then entrenches their reactionary interpretation.

The fear of Al-Bundification—of being downwardly mobile, of being trapped in alienating, demeaning, feminized service work—was best understood as an expression of failed masculinity was central to Trump's appeal in 2016. It's currently being repackaged for a new generation.

What do I mean by useful?

MMT has worked *very* well as a model for understanding both the trajectory of the real economy and markets for my entire career. Economists that used other approaches regularly over-estimated inflation for example. For over a decade, not as part of a dynamic shock.

I think this thread is absolutely right and would add that people in established democracies have completely forgotten what the concept of popular legitimacy is. We think legitimacy is procedural but it’s actually contingent and that’s literally the founding idea of this country.
It's not really about impeachment, per se. It's that if we could get 5% of the country to show up in DC and refuse to leave until this government falls, it will fall.

Important read. Again, the big picture is that this is WILDLY UNCONSTITUTIONAL & A TOTAL ARTICLE I FAILURE & these people should be in jail & no one who swore oaths should follow their orders & every journalist should be asking Speaker Johnson & SML Thune why the hell they're violating their oaths.
