Me: No, you didn't "do your own research", dad. You googled something specific which returned biased results based upon your previous interactions with google and then skimmed until you found some that confirmed your point-of-view.

Fell in love with The Brutalist (2024) yesterday on my first-time watch. Just a gorgeously shot and brilliantly edited film. Brody is stunning.

Next up is Bullit (1968), another first-time watch. Yes it’s a DVD. I’ll never give up physical media.

Last day of school yesterday for my boys and they had 8 kids spend the night here: Madness. Cookies. Chaos. Video games. Random outbursts. Maniacal laughter…

…but that was all just me in the other room.
