Apple Music recently mangled my music library, mixing up albums, artwork and tracks. It would no longer let me play some tracks from CDs I'd already purchased, despite previous upload and sync via iTunes Match. I've now ripped some CDs to a standalone music player and finally I can enjoy them again!

Today, the Baltic states disconnected their power grids from that of Russia.

It’s taken years of prep. What a moment.

There are some albums that represented a darker side of 'Britpop' - which was never just about British guitar bands and some dance music indie fans were 'allowed' to like anyway - that get conveniently forgotten about now. Life by The Cardigans was one.

"In a world of hawks, let us be the goat"
Today there are endless stories of power playing out in the world,
leaving their imprint.

If we were lucky enough to awake with wings,
Let’s use them to protect
rather than consume.

In a world of hawks,
let us be the goat—
protectors of the herd,
fiercely gentle,
alert and sweet.

You get the sense that Keir Starmer just wants everyone to be patient + doesn’t really understand that the level of urgency that a lot of people feel. We need change now, and he needs to deliver that change. If he doesn’t, I suspect the person who’ll benefit is Farage.
