Getting this build of my game tested was such a mistake. It was completely bug free before I did that. Lesson learned.

this hasn't really left the gamedev circles yet but, there's been like, 30,000 layoffs in the videogame industry the past two years. 11000 are from the first half of this year. it's pretty much the most layoffs this industry has had, ever. it's rough for a lot of us.

For any who need to hear this: the game industry can be a cruel & hard place. It's particularly bad right now. If you can't find work it's not necessarily a judgement on you. There are a lot of talented, experienced, & genuinely lovely folks who are also having trouble. You're in good company.
