It feels so stupid to chase someone who clearly doesn’t want to be around me. All of my partners are happy to be seen with me, to claim me. And they’re proud I claim them. But… for some reason, I can’t stop wanting him. I can’t stop trying to be what he wants. Even if it hurts me.

Though he’s still incredibly frustrated, he knows it’s the time of day that Grey typically makes himself tea. In typical Nereus fashion, he makes the tea exactly how his human likes it, and he’s knocking on his door trying to mask his grumpiness.

Nereus sits in the common area, Primrose in her favorite shark onesie on his knee. He goes through the alphabet slowly, signing each letter with his hands. She makes it another two letters before quickly pouncing on her dad’s fingers, chomping her baby-sharp new fangs into his skin.
