Devastated to hear Mani has died. His bass guitar is the soundtrack of so many people's lives. Gone too soon.

I know there's a lot going on at the moment, but Ronnie O'Sullivan has just made his second 147 OF THE MATCH in a semi-final vs Chris Wakelin.

We need, as a society, to denormalise video calls.
A phone call is fine 90% of the time. We don’t need to be able to see each other.

Loved 'The Black Dog' by Kevin Bridges. Fantastic characters and writing with memorable and realistic lines. Had no idea it would be this good.

I tied these ribbons to the railings today outside what was HMP Holloway. There is no other sign at the site to remind people that a thousand suffragettes were imprisoned here and some were tortured. #InternationalWomensDay

Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.

The Fraggle Rock song is definitely up there with the all time greatest theme tunes and intros to kids' TV programmes. Including The Mysterious Cities of Gold and of course The Raccoons.
42 years ago today, Fraggle Rock made its debut.

If you didn't see 'The Walk In' a few years ago on ITV it is now on Netflix. It stars the brilliant Stephen Graham and is well worth watching. Terrifying because it is true. Just as real is the courage of Hope Not Hate and people's ability to change for the better.

Terrific true story and so enjoyable to read. One of my favourite books this year.
With two weeks until Christmas, what are you buying the fan of spies and war in your life? How about the true story of the man who named the SAS, invented the Commandos, and made a thousand tanks appear in the desert, as if by magic?
