This is so fucked up. ICE agents in Massachusetts smashed the window of a car to grab a Guatemalan guy who was with his wife. They were waiting for their lawyer to arrive because he has a pending asylum case.

I am begging the national media to start taking this seriously.

Stop buying the claims that the framing of "temporary" or "pause."

They are altering the review processes of federally funded scientific research from merit-based peer review processes to political screening by ideologues.
NEW — OMB temporarily pauses all agency grants and loans programs.

Still can't get over this language in Trump's foreign aid freeze executive order. Calling for "harmonious and stable relations internal to and among countries" is an extraordinary rejection of liberal internationalism in favor of the non-interference/sovereignty paradigms preferred by 🇨🇳 & 🇷🇺
