The darkness of the war engulfed the whole city. Our wounds reopened. Our blood ran in the streets again. Souls flew away from here, and homes crumbled over there. The city trembled, shook, quaked, and roared.

We counted the days of war, until they started counting us - We Are Not Numbers
Now they have decided to occupy all of Gaza. And the world does what? The world is still silent.

He and she spoke by phone
the night before their wedding
certain their heartbeats
could end the war,
the endless bombardment, the screams.
White to white - We Are Not Numbers
He and she spoke by phone / the night before their wedding / certain their heartbeats/ could end the war/ the endless bombardment, the screams.

They burned me, Mama.
My heart was crying
Because my eyes melted
From the fire.
I wanted you, Mama
To take me back to your womb
I was waiting for you,
Where have you been, Mama?
Where were you, Mama? - We Are Not Numbers
They burned me, Mama / My heart was crying / Because my eyes melted / From the fire.
