In Diddy Kong Racing DS, the message when connection is lost during Download Play is "LOST ALL CHILDREN". The cartridge is internally called a "parent" and the downloaded instances its "children". While this would make sense to the developers, it has the potential to confuse or scare players.

i don't know how or why bubsy is still getting new games in the year 2025. the one thing i can say about it is that it doesn't look terrible, kinda in the same vein as a low to mid budget 00s 3D platformer. that can be a compliment or an insult.

i should get around to more VNs, i'm having a great time with the tsukihime remake and these sorts of games are just super easy to relax with. don't have a ton of options on hand atm, but i still have great ace attorney to get to at least.
