I tried a different process, where I don't use lineart and sculpt into shapes of color, which was easier than I expected.
It helps give the illustration that painterly look

Art is not arting.
In particular, my illustrations feel boring.
I still very much enjoy drawing and painting. I just feel like my process is the exact same every time I make an illustration, and it's getting tedious.
