We did it! Welwyn Hatfield Council joins the 374+ district, borough and parish councils in support of @zero-hour.bsky.social and the Climate and Nature Bill. I can't wait to see our name and logo featured amongst other supportive councils.
It is absolutely the role of local councils to be doing what they can to tackle climate change, support green initiatives and to promote equality and diversity in our communities.
It's a complete dereliction of duty to our residents, now and in the future to suggest otherwise.

I believe the proposed cuts to disability welfare are wrong. They'll push thousands of the most vulnerable further into the margins & into poverty. The Government needs to look at things differently. The promised change needs to be more than a red hand holding the scissors instead of a blue one.

Today they arrested Chris Nineham lead steward dragging him to the ground.
I’ve seen him lead hundreds of stewards, ensuring peaceful and safe protests for 15 months.
