On November 11, 1887, four anarchists were hanged, after being found guilty of murder of a cop in Chicago's Haymarket Square, though the prosecutor admitted that they were actually tried for being anarchists.

Their political philosophy hinges on a vision of white supremacy in which people who aren’t white are here at the privilege of white people, which they can revoke at any time, which they expect to be received with gratitude.

Serving as a stormtrooper in an imperial military should be stigmatized. The entire war machine is set up as a giant jobs program, and it's the last vehicle for social mobility left in the US. That's on purpose. You shouldn't have to be a spear carrier for the empire to afford college.

These are the stories you write when democracy went ahead and died in darkness. Tabloid shitstains.
Simmering tension between President Trump and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia) burst into public view on Monday after the president said the “Make America Great Again” loyalist has “lost her way” and accused her of catering to “the other side.” https://wapo.st/3LwDTSl

The vote was 53-47 in honor of the 5,347 fundraising emails the democrats are all about to send out
UPDATE: The Senate votes 53-47 to shoot down the Baldwin amendment to extend ACA funds for 1 year. A party-line vote with every Republican rejecting it.
An important vote in this series: Tammy Baldwin’s proposal to extend ACA expiring funds for 1 year. It’s structured as a motion to table (i.e. scrap it from the amendment tree). But it’ll show the appetite (or lack thereof) in the Senate to address this issue.

When you can’t afford health insurance just remember that Sen. Kaine is sleeping well
Tim Kaine on backlash he's getting: "I got the first good night's sleep last night that I've gotten since Oct 1, b/c I wasn't worried about being able to look Capitol Police in the eye when I walked in, or what a furloughed fed worker would say to me at church, or what somebody would say about SNAP"

So exactly what does our government do at this point besides pay different flavors of cops to beat the shit out of people and send bombs to Israel?

And there it is!

All the Dem votes to open the government all take money from the airline industry. Remember, air traffic controllers were working without pay?

Dems opened the government to appease their wealthy donors - airlines instead of for us.

No, Bernie, sending squads of goosestepping fascists to conduct mass raids and terrify entire communities is not "better." This is a godawful take and you should feel bad.
