For this piece, Michelle Holzapfel utilized the technique of "pyrography" to enhance the depth and texture her carving.

Throwback to 2015, exactly 10 years ago. The Museum for Art in Wood's annual residency program WARP Wood was called the ITE (International Turning Exchange). The 2015 ITE allTURNatives exhibition featured the work of 7 ITE Fellows, all creating and presenting work from the 2-month residency.
