“Rider University‘s president said the school is moving ahead with ‘urgent and severe choices’ after it was placed on ‘probation’ by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education”

A major N.J. university is on ‘probation.’ Here’s what that means for students.
The university's students face uncertainty as the school slashes faculty positions and cuts all employee salaries by 14% to avoid losing accreditation.

A reporter catches Ann Sothern in a grumpy mood, 1947:

“Kissing scenes fun? ‘They're worst of all,’ she says. ‘You have to powder your lips so you won't get lipstick all over the actor. Then you get powder down your throat and you're miserable.’”

Finally got to the source #novel of a wonderful foreign #indiethriller – Set during Italy’s Years of Lead, a surge of political crime and terrorism, the story relates the era to a child’s perspective, a boy that discovers a young victim. An interesting blend of Bildungsroman and Camus. #filmsky

Day 22: 31 Days of Horror: Now Watching: Nosferatu 1922 🧛‍♂️🩸⚰️

The 1st Nosferatu film, & still the best, imo. Groundbreaking, & paved the way for so much horror! I love Nosferatu in general cause it portrays vampires as monstrous & scary! 👹
