a company shouldn't be able to claim they're providing 100% renewable energy if they're just offsetting their nonrenewable infrastructure with purchased RECs.
honestly, RECs shouldn't be a thing that can be traded in the first place, but that's a bigger problem.

I wish I still got excited for Halloween. I still enjoy all the stuff associated with it, and am generally a low level excited for the vague time of year, but the day itself no longer has any meaning to me.
(I still like the spooky season jokes. no one will takes those from me.)

if a company already has access to information about you, they shouldn't ask you to provide that information. at that point are they just trying to catch you lying? it's just a waste of time and energy.
confirming is fine, but asking is ridiculous, especially if they override your answers.

I don't understand people that are correctly anti smart fridge but then get an alexa, or worried about spyware and data brokers but want a car with a simcard or connects to their cell network.

I'm so excited for all these companies losing money because the AI they're replacing workers with causes more problems than it saves becoming case study for future business students to ignore and try anyway because they're "built different."

my phone keyboard very readily predicts the string "9mm" even sometimes when I'm just trying to type "on" or "in." I really don't type it anywhere near as often as those words either. it's strange.
