Introducing the Hagnificent Podcast…
As I waved goodbye to my youngest this week as she headed off to school without me for the first time, a moment that brought on ALL the feels after 11 years of school runs, I realised it was time to introduce my newest baby to the world. Deep breath… here goes: The physical symptoms of perimenopause and menopause are finally being talked about (thanks Davina!), but the cultural impact still lingers largely in the shadows.

“OMG THE MAGAZINE IS ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! MY FACE HURTS FROM SMILING! IT IS THE BEST!”
This feedback from a parent of a child who took part in my inaugural after-school media club after the launch of our first magazine is the kind dreams are made of, right? It certainly isn't where I expected this little side-project adventure to make a magazine with KS2 pupils at a local primary school to end-up. If I'm honest, I wasn't sure where it would go.

With the Big Listen's findings revealing distrust for inspection, the Ofsted Academy - a new staff training hub - will be a key reform.

Funding will be a major factor in deciding whether Ofsted can pull off its reforms - the impacts of "significant budget cuts" were central to Christine Gilbert's independent learning review

Interesting reflections from @dan-worth.bsky.social's interview with Sir Martyn Oliver on Ofsted's budget.

“There comes a moment where you are asked to do more for less, and you end up not being able to do more for less. You just do less with less.”
I spoke with Sir Martin Oliver about the raft of changes being put forward after the Big Listen consultation including the shift to inspection calls by Monday afternoon - read the full interview on @tesmagazine.bsky.social t.co/P77W1GjUM5
