I wrote an article for @ForbesTechCncl where I argue that Large Language Model applications have *largely* missed the boat on the opportunity in security due a lack of focus on data pipelines, UX, and in-app data collection. But there's hope!

Our new #XDR @Cisco is different from the rest. The incident scores you see here are based on the same data insurers use to estimate loss. If it’s critical here, it’s because a Bayesian algorithm decided the probability of loss is high and it’s across important assets.

Two good things about this Friday: being mentioned in @mattjay’s newsletter (subscribe!) and being a grown man going to a magic the gathering tournament tonight. Nicht Schlect

Monthly reminder that the chatbots you worship are just big matrices yes as in the matrix yes as in linear algebra that comes after calc3

On the one hand, information wants to be free. On the other hand, it just wants to be a transformer inside of someone’s LLM going with the flow. Tough.

What is the state of the art today for geospatial data? What if I want to embed unstructured text over geoJSON?

Has anybody done a slim shady Twitter bit yet? I’d like to read it

We’ve raised $180,625 for @WCKitchen and UUARC. #Ukraine doing well in the offensive means civilians need your support more than ever. Thank you friends and colleagues - the small dent we’ve made is huge for someone.
