A very flooded Ashness Gate jetty on Derwentwater from last week. I’ve never seen the lake this high, however it’s not particularly surprising given the amount of rain during the middle of September.

The London Eye and South Bank taken during a long exposure zoom burst. The effect was achieved through zooming from wide to telephoto on a 24-105 lens during a 10 second exposure.

The top of Eira do Serrado was shrouded in low cloud so the view was non-existent, but the mist certainly added to the atmosphere.

This shot was taken on the Nun’s Path from Eira do Serrado down to the town of Curral das Freiras.
