I too enjoy getting cross at things that haven't been heard of since the 1970s.
And, allegedly, a lot of the 'detectors' that can 'tell' you've been watching are complete fiction, and just based on the fact that retail outlets are required to pass your data onto the BBC whenever you buy a telly. So if they see that you own one and don't pay a license, they just take a gamble.

In March, D. Medvedev said 'Russomania (Russophobia)' could be treated with 'nuclear neuroleptics such as [Russian missles] Yars and Sarmat'. In June, he was unrepentant about 'whipping up nuclear hysteria'. Nobody cared. I wonder why Trump is getting het up about the alcoholic Underground Man now?
