I love the fact he just enjoys it when he provides another world class moment. No need for posturing and giving it the big I am.

I have no coaching experience, but if I was in charge of a prem team playing Brighton I’d say soak up pressure and when they overload one of the wings with about 4 players smack the ball into the space, our players are good enough to exploit their slow defence.
It’s not rocket science. #BHAFC

It’s easy to say at this point but when Hurzeler was appointed my concern was his tactics at overloading areas of the pitch to press and win the ball. Quality players can get out of that then they have the freedom of the pitch. With no pacy defenders it’s a weakness that’s been exploited all season.

As Brighton’s last 180 games are 60 W, 60 D 60 L, does that make them amazingly consistent, or staggeringly inconsistent? 🤷‍♂️

Guess I was lucky that I couldn’t make it today. Gonna stay away from the doom & gloom and hope some positives come from it. Would like to see Enciso get a run of games. He needs to play to get his confidence back, and a confident Enciso is well worth having. Hopefully Gomez raises his morale too.

Groundhog Day!
Our ‘easy’ run of games is going just how I expected so far. 😬

Well what a surprise, totally dominating the game v Fulham, and 1-0 down. Likely to be lots of Fulham head injuries in the second half. 😏

It’ll all be OK if we trust the process because we’ve got big balls and the boys gave their all. After half a century of unexpected highs as the underdog, and expected lows against the underdog, I suppose we can look at last night as a point gained. Champions League spot after a third of the season!

We got lucky with the offside goal but agree, based on Baleba being suspended, and we missed his energy, Downes should’ve been off. The Prem has the best coaches and the best players from all over the world, so why not referees as well, rather than the awful inconsistency we see week in week out!

So we all know how the script goes against the bottom placed team when we’re flying high and I’m guilty of thinking that way. Maybe it’s time to start believing again like in 2016/17, and let waves of ‘We’re on our way to the Champions League’ help get us over the line in these types of game.

There are many factors leading to our current form and having a fully fit Mitoma and Estupinan on the left again is one of them. I feel Friday’s game is really significant. It’s the type of game that has tripped us up so many times in the past. Win it, and it shows we mean business this season.

So my seagulls journey started when I was about 8. My dad took me to a game v Preston NE and Bobby Charlton played for them. Brighton lost 4-0 but I was hooked. My dad sadly passed away a few years later so I didn’t get to many more games with him. He’d be amazed to see us flying so high now. #BHAFC
