I think it tells you everything you need to know about the past American century that Chicago was supposed to have a grand central plaza anchored by a 560 ft tall ornate civic center building but instead that site is now a giant highway interchange they named after the country's first woman mayor

Get your shots, folks. It won't prevent you from getting infected, but it could lessen the severity and keep you out of the hospital.
“It’s just the flu”

Mask up, get vaxxed.
Warnings rise for U.S. as a severe flu strain causes outbreaks. A flu strain that emerged over the summer is causing unprecedented outbreaks in Japan, as well as in Canada and the U.K. The CDC hasn't provided insights on flu in the U.S. in nearly 2 months.

who creates the lively art and music scenes if the rent is too high? who makes cultural life? who serves you food or washes your dishes? who creates the fancy little restaurants that draw you to urban living? affordable housing is at the heart of what makes city life worthwhile.

This new #OnPoli legislation about ending automatic lease renewal seems like a great way to end rent stabilization.

That would likely destroy my family's life.

Dr Oz speaks from looooong experience here
Dr Oz: "We have an advantage with AI. You know why? We don't think the way fraudsters think. That's just not what our minds do. The bank managers don't think about bank fraud. They want to do loans and help businesses. Fraudsters think about fraud. So the AI can think the way a fraudster thinks."

The repeal of the ACA is going to destroy healthcare. Prior to its passage people would get divorced to avoid the government seizing their assets for their healthcare.

People used to cede custody of kids to relatives so they could have healthcare.

Sanders: I am not a great fan of the affordable care act. I believe in medicare for all. I think that health care is a human right, but I will be damned if I'm going to see people in Vermont and around this country see a doubling in their premiums.

ICE claims its officers use a “minimum amount of force.”
