The testimonies within are shocking. This reinforces the complete lack of trust in a system which only exists & functions to abuse trans folks.

here's an idea

every time you see a bigoted rage bait piece in the guardian or wherever else (you shouldn't, don't read the guardian. they are bigoted shitheads.) how about instead of sharing that piece you share some cool work by trans people.

music, art, writing, poetry or anything! just trans.
"SHAME ON THE GUARDIAN FOR PUBLISHING THIS!

<FULL LINK TO THE GUARDIAN ARTICLE>"

please for the love of fuck can you all understand they are doing this on purpose because outrage generates more clicks than agreement SPECIFICALLY BECAUSE YOU ARE SHARING IT.

STOP IT.

STOP IT NOW.

i think the most sick thing about govt going all in on Esther's phone shit after her daughter was murdered in a crime which had not nothing to do with phones

... is that I spoke to Brianna's friends. On Tiktok. They were everything to her - you want to take that away from other kids like Brianna?
Do you not think it's bizarre to have strangers on the internet decide they know better than Brianna's own loved ones on what is or isn't insulting to her memory?

I've got no time for Rosie Duffield, but she turned up at a drop-in event in Parliament and that's been the limit of her involvement.

I really don't think people have a concept of what less than 1% of the population looks like. If you don't live in a major conurbation it can look like not seeing another trans person for days, weeks or even months. Online friendships are quite literally a lifeline, particularly for trans kids
ps. it is arguable that Brianna would not likely have turned to social media for friendships and transitional support had those things been readily available in her local area.

@charlotte2153.bsky.social you want kids like Brianna off her phone? then give them a better alternative.

that's just. im so mad about all of this. it's just fucking disgusting how israel has spent decades getting away with this shit.
What’s going on here is: the Israeli government and military always planned to move to A Permanent Solution at some future point; they’re already done out of the park on genocide and war crimes charges, and the only restraint on them is America’s ancient, mentally deranged King.
