Really enjoying this poster my parents made in 1982 to try and get people to join their morris dancing side.
A hand written poster with two illustrations of morris dancers on it. One is dressed in the traditional outfit of a male morris dancer and the other female. The text which is hand written in marker pen with lots of underlining and full caps reads: "Are you interested in 1. dressing up in strange clothes 2. standing around outside public houses? 3. leaping around to odd sounding instruments? 4. using two handkerchiefs at the same time? If so then Morris Dancing is the thing for you! Men and women wanted. No age limit, no experience needed! Practices will start in September on Tuesday evenings at the Red Lion Crewkerne. Interested?
