Gift Article. Texas GOP politicians now control how race and gender are taught in Texas universities. Yes, because we all know hard-right white conservative Christians are experts on the history, culture, sociology, psychology and biology of race, ethnicity, sex, and gender.
What a joke.

The merging of American evangelicalism with the GOP has created the most bat-sh_t crazy mass social movement I have ever heard of. Pure madness. The hypocrisy meter is broken. It is a purely nihilistic, irrational, hate cult projected from the mind of a child raping sociopath.
Unreal.

Are you effing kidding me? A pet, custom meals...this sounds like Hilton suite.
She needs to be recaptured, assuming he pardons her, and put into a max security prison for male sex offenders with no protection afforded. Then she can experience what her child victims experienced.

If American democracy survives this regime, my take home leason will be it was only because he raped children.
That's a pretty low bar for a dictator to clear. I don't think America will have anything to feel proud of. No great love of freedom or country. Just, "meh, that guy was a tad too gross"
November 13, 2025 at 7:36 AM
Chuck Schumer has simultaneously undermined the credibility of every Democratic Senator. We have no idea which 'no' votes are fake. Who is blowing smoke. He has damaged the entire side of the aisle. Yet there he remains.
Pathetic.
November 13, 2025 at 7:06 AM
Without knowing any details that are coming out now, many of us knew even before he won in 2016 that he would bring down everyone around him. It was clear. He was an awful person. A trainwreck in progress.
Utter stupidity electing him once. Twice is beyond belief. Its unreal.

My waking life these days rivals some of my most peculiar fever dreams. What the hell is going on in this country? The GOP us utterly bizzare. So bizzare. Now one time checks for healthcare?

This Epstien thing, which includes Peter Theil now, apparently, makes the imagined conspiracies of Qanon look petty and provincial. This is James Bond multinational governmental stuff. Its like all the villains were tied to him.
Its absurd but real.

So glad I have no connection, either familial or acquaintance (would never be a friend), to Karoline Leavitt.
She is garbage. She runs cover for a child rapist.
Any of her friends and family, if they are not totally disgusted by her lying behavior, are also base-level scum.
November 13, 2025 at 12:25 AM
She isn't just full of nice sounding rhetoric. She does things. She takes action which give her words more credibility on the House side.
Contrast that with the cowards in the Senate that retreated on the shutdown. Schumer +8 + who knows how many more?
Replace them with AOC-types.
AOC: "It is unconscionable that what we are debating right now is legislation that will give 8 senators over $1 million a piece & we're robbing people of their food assistance & healthcare to pay for it. How can we vote to enrich ourselves by stealing from the American people?"

Gift article.
The Child Rapist is asking Boebert and Mace to gut themselves in every way just to delay release of the files. Child Rapist is dying soon but they will live with the act of personal and professional suicide he is expecting of them.
To cover up what? We know already! He's a rapist. Duh.

QAnon. A conspiracy made and promoted by Russian intelligence services targeting America's cognitive underbelly. A favor to Trump to deflect suspicion away from what Putin knew, and install Putin's child raping traitor into the White House.
It's a reasonable bet this is at least partly accurate.

MAGA-cult collectively says: "Oh, he didn't mean to have his name in those emails. His name just appears in emails sometimes but thats just Trump being Trump. I'm pretty sure I don't want him to have sex with, and then beat up, my 13 year old daughter, but no, it doesn't bother me."

Every time I see Schumer trotted out in front of a microphone as Senate minority leader I become more and more convinced that my Senators @cantwell.senate.gov and @murray.senate.gov, who were also 'no' votes and have yet to call for his removal, we secret 'yes' votes and need to also be removed.
November 12, 2025 at 4:16 PM
@murray.senate.gov @cantwell.senate.gov are my Senators. They voted 'no' on Sunday...just like Chuck Schumer did.
Until they actively and effectively get Schumer removed from leadership, I consider their 'no' votes as hollow as his was.
The need to prove the don't deserve removal themselves.

Child Rapist exploits his base with the same con tricks, over and over and over again. There is no innovation in his game. He eagerly preys upon the vulnerabilities of the cognitivly challenged like they are all 13 year old runaways with no access to a phone.
November 12, 2025 at 3:46 AM
Overall, the mathmatically absurd amount of legislation that hangs on one vote, either win or lose, is a sign of corruption.
Congress is not focused on representing the will of the people, they are playing theatrical games to help each other stay in power.
November 12, 2025 at 12:06 AM
I will come back here and post I was wrong if it happens, but I bet the Epstien petition will not make it to the floor at LEAST before January. If the Arizona congresswoman gets sworn in, a Republican will defect to keep it at 217.
November 12, 2025 at 12:04 AM
Those are our cards. He was trusted to play them well. He didn't. At all. The only explanation is that he really isn't playing for us, but someone else.
So...why does he have the right to get dealt OUR next hand?
It would be insane not to back him off from the table.
November 11, 2025 at 9:40 PM
We need the kind of Dems that, if/when, they ever get power again, tell the GOP, corporations, and billionaires to go kick rocks.
We don't got that now. We have weak, corrupt, and complicit leaders.
Capitalism can work, but ONLY with a strong civil society that imposes firm discipline on it.
November 11, 2025 at 7:45 PM
Corporate Dems repeatedly arrange for Republicans to kick the crap out of them. Then they fundraise off the outrage:
"Look how awful Republican are! Help us stop them! Donate at any level so we can fight back!"
Rinse and repeat.
Actually fighting back would throw them off the fundraising message.

As far as I can tell Sen. Jeanne Shaheen has been a political coward for years. Seems like she is part of that Clintonesqe type of Dem that loves politics because it gets them invited to be around important people so they can feel special. She's a survivor. Not a fighter. No guts.
November 11, 2025 at 8:21 AM
If Chuck Schumer and his gang of 8 were the leaders of Sein Fein in Ireland in the 1970's every Catholic neighborhood would have been leveled and they would give speeches about how they had no option but to vote to let it happen. Worthless, gutless, cowards.
November 11, 2025 at 5:55 AM
My big message for any Dem Senator that voted 'no' on the shutdown betrayal is that 'You do not get a pass'.
We are not stupid. We are not MAGA.
Schumer arranged it.
Schumer voted 'no' as cover.
Your 'no' vote is suspect.
You have some cleaning up to do to prove you were not 'in on it' too.
