I got laid off today, with the rest of 18F.
18F was an elite federal software shop. We made gov't websites work better, more efficiently for the American people. We saved taxpayers from getting screwed over by contractors. And were fired for it.

Wouldn't be a proper trip into town (Dublin town that is) without a quick stop into this lovely & well stocked shop. I was quite restrained. Three for her (daughter). One for Me!

During times of great stress, spending time with dogs, especially our sweet boy Rusty, brings me great comfort. Dogs live in the moment. We should all be so fortunate to have the life of a well loved dog.
