It's one reason self care advice can seem so nebulous. What works for one person might not work for another. What works for me on Monday might not be what I need on Friday. Something that sounds ridiculous might be exactly the best thing. Something that usually works might not today.

I’ve actually been looking for an excuse to talk about #habitica. I’ve been using it to gamify goals for a few months now, and it’s definitely motivating me! I even ended up in a pretty great party of people who encourage everyone while we fight “bosses” by doing daily tasks! Definitely recommend!

Homework is BS. Kids go to school for 7.5 hours & get schoolwork to do at home & parents encourage & reward if they do. As adults we find out it’s unhealthy to overwork, we shouldn’t take work home, etc. But for 12 years that’s exactly what we’ve been trained to do. Where’s the school/life balance?
