Rhode Island’s own….
A former adviser to President Biden told investigators he was set to receive a $4 million bonus if Biden had won reelection — a payment House Republicans say incentivized him to downplay what they described as the president’s declining mental fitness.
Biden adviser says he would have received $4 million bonus for 2024 win
Mike Donilon’s total potential pay package was unusually large and outsized compared to the salaries of senior campaign officials working for the president’s reelection.

I’d hope they’d be up more than 9-7 on Brown.
Vrabel recognizes that Sunday’s matchup against Cleveland (2-5) is pivotal for a group that, for whatever reason, hasn’t fared well at home. The Patriots (5-2) are 4-0 on the road but just 1-2 in their own building.
Pats ahead of Brown, 9-7 at the half
Mike Vrabel likes the way the New England Patriots have been trending to start the season, winning five of six and vaulting to the top of the AFC East after dropping their season opener to Las Vega…

Nothing like being woken up at 3:30 am by your medical device telling you you’re about to die and the solution is to go drink juice, eat a cookie, and doomscroll until the sugar kicks in. (All in all lucky for this medical technology.)

Don’t worry guys, the military won’t follow unlawful orders 🙄
The military has now killed 27 people as if they were enemy soldiers in a war zone and not criminal suspects. www.nytimes.com/2025/10/14/u...

Definitely didn’t have @peterfneronha.bsky.social showing up on Pod Save America’s morning show on my bingo card. Pleasantly surprised over my coffee today.

I’ve been on Facebook since May 2004, I signed up as soon as I got a coveted .edu address from the 5 schools it was then limited to. Used to be great. Haven’t used it in any significant way in a decade plus.
Letting people born before 1980 onto Facebook may have been the single most harmful decision any business has ever made
i don't want to hear your most boomer complaint. what's your most millennial complaint?

@sueanderbois.bsky.social just noticed the No Right on Red signs at Hope and Cypress have been spray painted over. Do you know if that’s vandalism or is the city changing the intersection and just hasn’t taken the sign down.

My son is doing his second summer of camp at the JCC in our neighborhood. He’s currently singing on a loop one of the the Israeli entries to EuroVision. It’s catchy he’s not wrong, but it took a while to try to find it online.

The uncensored version of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off during the free for all last week of high school…I grew up with a copy my parents taped off TV, never knew there were swears. I always thought “Cameron’s car is a piece of tin,” was a pretty good line.

It’s *so cool* that people want to join this “club” and use a CGM for fun, whereas, I am forced to monitor my blood glucose to avoid losing my vision and extremities in 40 years. (Frankly I’m lucky to have a CGM to do it…)

A continuous glucose monitor is a small device that sticks to your arm. Every few minutes it sends a signal to your phone estimating your blood sugar levels. But can it improve your health?
Should you track your blood sugar with a continuous glucose monitor?

When will I get a long investigative piece from the Times or the Atlantic on why this man with his pudding brain has become obsessed with the word ‘groceries’. Obsessed.
Trump to UAE president: "We have a term 'groceries.' It's an old term but it means basically what you're buying, food, it's a pretty accurate term but it's an old fashioned sound but groceries are down."

I went to a fundraising event for my kid’s school tonight and they had a raffle on the horses with each their own bucket. I couldn’t put a ticket in the Sovereignty bucket because unfortunately these goons have made sovereignty a bad word.
