Why do you think it should be legal to rape disabled people?

You share some of your views on disabled people with Donald Trump and Elon Musk, so you're kind of a traitor too with a disgusting view of consent and dehumanise us disabled people. You're no better than them.

RFK Jr talking about the need for doctors to know how to treat measles for those who are unvaccinated.

“Only very sick kids should die from measles.”

No. They shouldn’t. That was the point of the vaccine. We eradicated the virus so children didn’t die.

An 8-year-old girl with fever, rash, headache, and seizures tested positive for COVID-19. Imaging showed brain edema; EEG indicated brain death. Despite intensive care, her condition worsened, leading to brain death.

Hey y’all—David Esteban’s @patientled.bsky.social funded Long Covid study has hit a snag just before the finish line—the cost to process samples went up. They’ve collected 43 but now can only run 20. $7000 would cover the rest!

Thanks so much for giving or boosting!

It might just be me not bring used to BlueSky, but everything feels so distant somehow? I know notifications don't work the same way like on Twitter so we don't get overwhelmed,

The only reason why I keep my Twitter account is to check in on the disability communities.

It takes much more energy and effort to start anew on a new platform for disabled people. It's not that we can't. It's because of the connections we already had before.

A sobering article. It's exhausting but this virus is relentless. We need meaningful change: strong investments in cleaning the air, in research to prevent/treat infection and long Covid. Sadly we can never go back to the way things were. We ar living in a new reality.
