It’s a terrible bill. It will literally kill people. The most vulnerable among us will suffer as the wealthiest benefit. It’s perverse. I wish there were something I could do. But alas, I am only a U.S. Senator from Alaska whose “no” vote would kill the bill. So I voted yes. You get it.

"Good Vibrations" is so marvelously complex ... at a time when songs were A-B-A-B, or A-B-A-B-C-B if lucky, this gem of a pop song has 5 distinct sections.

Truly one of the greats. Rest easy.
“.. Jesus, that ear. He should donate it to the Smithsonian. .. He made all his records with four tracks, but you couldn't make his records if you had a hundred tracks today.”

Boyle: It’s pretty striking that literally all Donald Trump had to do was nothing. He could sit there, watch Fox News all day, sit with the remote control, occasionally tweet, and then on weekends go down to Mar-a-Lago and play golf. But instead, he purposely went about ruining this economy.

My retirement fund has lost 1/5 of its value (and falling) since inauguration. I’m at the age where I have time to build it back but my resulting anger may take years off my life. This is all so senseless and moronic.

On Transgender Day of Visibility, we celebrate Minnesota’s transgender community and recommit to standing up for our neighbors in the face of hatred.

As your Governor, I’m proud to stand in this fight with you.

Prices are soaring, your 401k is in the tank, Social Security phone lines are hours long.

Instead of addressing any of that – this administration is picking a fight with Denmark.

begging democrats to make this more than a one-day story. remember hillary's emails? you have agency here to shape press coverage of this grotesque and likely illegal level of incompetency.
Andrea Mitchell just asked State Dept spokesperson Tammy Bruce about the "unprecedented breach of operational security" by Pete Hegseth accidentally including Jeffrey Goldberg, editor in chief of The Atlantic, in a war-planning group chat with nat sec leaders.

Bruce declined comment.

I really can’t get over that all this, the threatening to invade Canada, the torturing of that German guy with a green card, the soon to happen deaths of millions of people from the dismantling of USAID, is a response to the absolute dipshit question “has wokeness gone too far?”

Republicans in Congress need to realize THEY DON'T WORK FOR TRUMP. They work FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE and those who elected them. THAT'S HOW THIS WORKS.

one thing i keep thinking about is how there is simply no way to design a constitutional system that can resist authoritarian incursion if participants in that system do not actually care that much

Perhaps the most depressing part about the last couple of months is that every awful shitty thing that’s happening to this country is self-induced. People asked for this. None of it had to happen.

It’s been 60 years since Bloody Sunday: when civil rights activists set out to march from Selma to Montgomery, only to be met with violence.

John Lewis was one of 58 beaten that day—but he marched on, leading thousands to Montgomery. May we all channel his courage as we defend our democracy today.

Call every senator - you do not have to be their constituent to voice your opinion.

They are in a national level office and their voices and votes impact every person in the country. You can call as 1 of those impacted.

Call after hours. Blow up their VM. Keep calling every day.
