The pupils were so excited to show me what they had created and told me how much problem solving they had to do to get their cars to work. Resilience and adaptability in action!
Whilst exploring Germany as part of our Europe topic. We learned a variety of car brands originated in Germany. This afternoon we had a go at creating our own balloon cars. Putting our problem solving and creativity skills to the test to ensure our cars were successful and met the set design brief.

The children have been thriving during their P1 transition visits to our Primary 1 classrooms. They have had the opportunity to explore their surroundings and play with their friends. Great job, everyone!

Kelpies did a fantastic job at our House Read-a-thon this afternoon for World Book Day. Pupils enjoyed sharing their favourite books and reading with one another. Thank you to all of our families who supported us!

🌟 An amazing performance by our Glee choir last week. I loved watching them all have the best time on the stage. Huge thank you to Mrs Marjoribanks @lauriestonp2-1.bsky.social and Mrs Campbell @lauriestonp2.bsky.social for all of their hard work with the choir. 🌟
We couldn't be any prouder of our school GLEE choir last night. Every one of our girls shone on that stage and each and every one of you should be so proud of yourselves. We had so much fun and loved sharing this event with lots of other schools.

Huge well done to all of our winners of the Scots Poetry competition in school. The pupils clearly put a huge amount of effort into learning and performing their poems. A brilliant treat for the whole school to enjoy!
