FOM has been touring the province with @pfparks.bsky.social, talking to hundreds of Albertans about our health care!

With the system at a breaking point, workers overwhelmed & mounting threats of privatization jeopardizing access to care—we need to have an Urgent Conversation.

IMO, this is another way to stop the UCP and will help the teachers

Take a read of this excellent reporting by a local Med Hat reporter👇
Let's breakdown the topic and the govt's canned response to understand the pattern and issues:

The broad issue was about workforce planning and a promised Urgent Care Centre (UCC)

The suppression of charter rights is a huge deal and should only ever be used as a last resort.

Shame the…

Every Albertan should be outraged.
Our govt just rammed thru a full on attack on our constitutional rights.
If they’ll do this to our teachers, nobody’s constitutional rights will be safe.
This cannot be allowed to stand.

Last night the UCP made slaves of every worker in #Alberta
You might think that's an exaggeration but it's what I see when I think it through
Now any employer can double workers hours, cut their pay, no benefits, no time off
If we complain we will be forced to work using the Notwithstanding clause
