1/2 My view on potential welfare cuts:

If a government drives people who are unwell into exploitative and insecure work, the illness doesn’t go away.

We'll see more people on waiting lists, visiting food banks, & pushed into services that are past breaking point.

So an adult with severe learning disability & epilepsy lives with working parents (mum part time) PIP & a little paid care approx £250 pw - reduction in PIP pushes them to breaking point - son ends up in full time care £1,500 pw - and this is supposed to save money!
