For anyone struggling against Seth in Silksong, I would say the fight is much easier if you *don't* use tools. Beyond maybe the flintslate.

No game, even Hollow Knight, has really driven home how mucn input lag there is with the Pro controller on the Switch as much as Silksong has. There have been *multiple* bosses in this game that have kicked my ass repeatedly until I switched to handheld, and then I beat them within a couple tries.

More than anything else, more than some of the atrocious run backs or the insane abundance of challenge rooms, is the very obvious input reads from a lot of the enemies in Silksong. It’s very annoying to get dinged by an enemy attack when you move after they already committed to it.

There's something kind of fascinating in "Pickle Rick" somehow simultaneously serving as the episode of Rick & Morty that both exposed large chunks of the fanbase as unhealthy obsessives, and explicitly and in no uncertain terms painted Rick as a selfish, amoral, destructive monster.

I love Silksong otherwise, but this game's seeming fetish for these goddamn unskippable 'colisseum' style rooms really kinda sucks and smacks of lazy design in what is otherwise a meticulous experience.

Never noticed how bad the input lag for the pro controller on the Switch is until I was doing the runback and fight against the Last Judge in Silksong with it vs doing it in handheld mode.
