A silly diagram explaining the meanings of my OCs Carmine and Sana's names. 'Carmine' - song, poem, strong cultural association with composition; in how Carmine "composes" the world and people around him. Emiliano - originates from the latin 'aemulus' or 'rival.' Sant'Amarcirena is a portmanteau of the Italian words 'santa' (saint), 'amare' (to love), 'marcire' (to rot), and 'amarena' (sour cherry). Carmine's stage name "Saint Marcir" (or vaguely Saint Rot/Rotting Saint) is pulled from his last name. "Sana Intera Holt" has no meaning, I just like how it sounds. Intera like "inter", or something.

everyone says just worldbuild from scratch and they’re right. it’s awesome. what they don’t tell u is that then u have to solodev a 500k word visual novel to even scratch the surface of ur work and make it accessible (this is definitely required i think)
