While Meta allows its chatbots to engage in explicit roleplay with minors and X has an AI that will describe the sexual assault of a journalist in detail, that Bluesky is the one getting attacked says all you need to know about the union between the tech elite and fascism.
I strongly suspect it's not IF, it's WHEN Trump shuts down this site. Establish contact NOW with folks LOCALLY who are organizing against fascism, friends. And set up on other social media sites. (Yes, Mastodon kind of sucks, but it's the one that's least likely to be killed by fascists.)
I hope Bluesky has a fantastic legal team. Because the more popular it becomes, the more of a target it will be to Musk/Trump.

Having been raised by a librarian, I have so much love & respect for these invaluable public spaces. My 1st job was working the front desk at my local library. Please get a library card & go learn just how many resources libraries can offer. Patronage helps keep them open, & it’s free.
My 80-year-old aunt told me she "got tired of streaming" and is borrowing DVDs from her library again.

So I checked it out and they have an amazing selection. Blu-rays too, from Criterion, Kino Lorber and other boutique labels.
