FIRST ALERT: A "Dense Fog Advisory" has been issued for Orangeburg, Clarendon and Williamsburg Counties through much of Sunday morning! Across the Lowcountry, the risk of fog will be greatest for our inland counties. Make sure to exercise caution on the roads.

PARADE FORECAST: Rain won't be as large of a factor for Sunday's Charleston Holiday #Parade! Although a spotty shower or two cannot be ruled out, much of the afternoon and evening will just feature overcast skies and cool temperatures.

SUNDAY: Abundant sunshine makes a return for the end of the weekend... and so do our seasonable temperatures! We'll be treated to daytime temperatures in the low/mid 70s (mid/upper 60s along the coast) on Sunday. Temperatures may cool a couple more degrees by Monday.

AFTER THANKSGIVING: A strong cold front is currently forecast to reach the Lowcountry on Thursday, which should bring us slightly cooler temperatures for the end of the week!

The real cooldown begins next Friday... daytime temperatures may only rise into the 50s!

EARTHQUAKE ALERT: @usgs-quakebot.bsky.social confirmed the occurrence of an M 1.9 #Earthquake at 5:49 AM Friday near Ladson and North Charleston!

This marks the Lowcountry's fourth earthquake this year, and Dorchester County's third!

NEAR-RECORD WARMTH: Wednesday afternoon's temperature of 82° fell one degree shy of our record high for the date (83°, set in 1942)! Although we won't be as warm through late week, temperatures will remain several degrees warmer than average for mid-November.

THIS WEEK: Drier and briefly cooler air will overspread the Lowcountry for the start of the work week! Daytime temperatures on Monday should only reach the mid to upper 60s. We're expected to return to the 70s (and perhaps near 80° in spots) starting midweek!
