Musk is very confused - the EU Commission president is nominated by leaders of (elected) govts and approved by the (elected) European Parliament, not 'appointed by a committee'.

I think, as an American who studied the speech to assess whether it constituted unlawful incitement, the BBC edit was poor journalistic form, but it did not convey something substantively different than reality. My thing? The apology doesn’t convey to me that the BBC gets Trump isn’t a fair broker.
The reaction to the Panorama edit has been nothing short of hysterical. Yes the BBC has some impartiality problems. But its biggest isn't the one you think.

New piece from me.

The BBC - for all its flaws - remains the greatest news and broadcasting service in the world.

It is everything Donald Trump and his cabal of nasty little nobodies will never be and we need to defend it.

I find it funny how presenters in the UK say:"isn't Green Party meant to be just about the environment." Like it's a difficult concept that environmental justice and social & economic justice go together.
Coming from a Nordic country, this doesn't sound 'radical' at all, just very common sense.

Zohran's campaign was his determination to make New York a city everyone can afford to live in. Huge congratulations!

His success will resonate throughout the world. A story where no one is left behind.

It's time to write that story across England & Wales too.

Starmer and Blue Labour had plenty of warning about what would happen if they kept on pandering to Farage voters. So its no surprise they're now losing support to Greens and LibDems. Here's John Curtice in 2023 explaining how anti-Brexit and pro-EU Labour voters are ...

Kier Starmer must know he will not win the next election. He has a majority and nothing to lose, now is the time to grow a spine and be bold. Ban MPs from having second incomes, introduce PR, hold a new EU referendum, tax the rich, go nuts.

Flags aren't inherently racist but they are nationalist (it's their function) so using them in a racist way is no great stretch.

Just had a short walk passing 2 union flags and one St George cross on lampposts and St George cross on a crossing and a roundabout. All to make others feel unwelcome.
