I would like to have a conversation with folks who sway actors away from having a basic demo when they feel ready to audition for things.
With how the indie industry is more keen on demo drops and calls instead of standard audition sides, not having a demo seems limiting.

Holy shit, Tatsuya Nagamine quietly passed away a few months ago?? He was only 54. That’s so young… He was such a talented director. Saved Dragon Ball Super from being a complete laughingstock of a production. Spearheaded the One Piece anime’s glow-up that started with Wano.

Assuming this trêve on the strike holds, I wonder if talks fail if the union will realize that making the population (who should be allies) suffer the most, esp low-income people, instead of the govt/transit agency, is the wrong strategy if you want to win them over.

Oh, the trève is real! 👀 Overheard the bus radio say "This is a reminder that the strike is over. Please respect the regular schedule" and somehow they got the VA for the special announcements to record a message for stations. Maybe they kept him in the loop bc that wldve been a tight turnaround

(I suspect I may also be burned out from my long 2h45m (1h15m going/1h30m-45m+ returning) daily commute turning from something 'comfortable' and manageable into something incredibly stressful given the limited strike service window the last few weeks... 🫠)

After a bit of looking around, I found that the transit authority put out a statement saying full service won't return until Thursday/Friday so I guess there'll be a lot of missing buses for the next two days. (though the union's site mention(ed) that regular service resumes today at 6am)
