I will be on BBC Radio Guernsey and BBC Radio Jersey on Sunday 24th just after 11am talking about why being a citizen of a neutral country in the German occupied Channel Islands wasn’t such an easy life as it is sometimes portrayed. Why the Irish got a raw deal post occupation and more. 🗃️

I smoked when I was younger I packed in at 21 and it’s not something I will be doing again. I will never back a government wanting to ban it completely however. It’s not the governments place. Worrying times when you have to wonder what’s next?

What a player even as a Wigan fan you couldn’t fail to respect that. However more importantly what a man. The awareness he spread and the funds he raised whilst battling the terrible illness will forever be an inspiration. Rest in peace Mr Burrow the defences of heaven will be terrified tonight.

I was worried about two weeks with my feet up but 4 days in and I think retirement could suit me. Dog seems all on board with it as well. Wife not so much. Apologies to anyone reading this at work I’m aware it makes me a total git.

Such sad news. RIP Ian Lavender. If I was on a desert island dads army would always have been my box set. I was raised on this program. At ease Pike.

Update. Meds amended and being sent home later today with instructions to rest and recover. Cardiology specialist appointment hoping to be moved forward from June.

Update cardiology have changed my meds and want to monitor me for 24 hours. If no pain I will probably be sent home then. If I have pain it will be transfer to the cardiology ward for further

Morning all. Angina appears to be playing up. 16 hours in A&E yesterday finally got a bed on a ward during the night. Will see the cardiologist today and go from there. Good news is I feel a lot better today. I’ve also ordered a three course lunch which I am sure won’t live up.
