This is how to do public toilets!

The main toilet array at the Munch museum in Oslo, which reads: please use the toilet of your choice (urinals available on the right). (Oddly, there wasn’t an English translation as there was for most/all other tex.)

Marine Le Pen, calling for lifetime ineligibility from public office for politicians convicted of doing exactly what she was convicted yesterday of having been up to her neck in at the time she was saying it (and also saying she herself was whiter than the driven snow).
« Quand allons-nous mettre en place l’inéligibilité à vie pour tous ceux qui ont été condamnés pour des faits commis à l’occasion de leur mandat ? »

This is my sense of what’s happened in French political alignment over the last twenty or so years. First a weakening of the traditional centre-left; next a weakening in the centre-right. Macron surging in to fill the void from the centre, but not with much. Pressure from both edges increasing.

Haven't seen what's inside the Labour manifesto, but I'm not convinced putting an enormous GREY Keir Starmer on the front was an stellar choice. He looks like an extremely stern head teacher warning the country to CHANGE. If it doesn't pull up its socks, it's going to get a detention.

I'm sure they really didn't plan to start the Labour campaign by giving out direct personal advice to the drowned rat in Downing Street, but since his own advisors don't seem very helpful, and he doesn't appear capable of dressing competently on his own, maybe it was useful.

Behind the big black door,
a short man with a short temper
waits to go into the pouring rain
and throw in the towel.
