@zenakeita.bsky.social possible question for the pod: WHY is the 30 day transfer portal window in March/April? I understand the WNBA draft deadline has to be tied to the season start and the season has to fit the global basketball calendar…. But I don’t get why the transfer portal can’t be June?

I’m not sure why people keep saying Unrivaled is a competitor of the WNBA. The success of one league directly benefits the other. They are two different formats. More eyes on professional women’s basketball means more funding and support for all. We can support both leagues. #unrivaled #wnba #wbb

Omg watching this NBA Disney game and it is SO weird. My 3yo is loving it and has SO many questions. Wish they had some WNBA folks there too since she knows them better, but Goofy dunking is pretty fun too.

Okay so I’m trying to read the #unrivaled tea leaves. Presumably if they were going to get CC (or A’ja or Sabrina… like mega-watt names for even casual WBB fans), they would want to save that announcement for the night before the team selection and ticket drops. So that’s .. tomorrow?
