1. He’s paranoid - like most authoritarian leaders - he knows he is not popular. And DC is 80% Dem - he’s in hostile territory.
2. More along the same narrative of fear that the national is under siege.

Another great program - AmeriCorps - falls victim to DOGE budget slashing. Such a great win-win program that provided communities and non profits with volunteers and volunteers with hands on work experience. Unbelievably sad….😥

Do you know what the $35 Trillion deficit is a testament to? That every GOP President or lawmaker who looked us in the eye and said tax cuts wouldn’t raise the deficit or perhaps even stimulate the economy to the point where the deficit would be reduced was flat out lying!

Canadian and European investors are pulling out of the US market. Projects are being shelved. Will they soon start pulling out of residential real estate? I live in AZ and there are many Canadians who spend their winters here….
