I work with homeless offenders and homeless prison leavers. Anybody wanting to offer a home to a criminal, please do get in touch.
I had Covid a couple of weeks ago. I felt a bit under the weather for 2 days. Masks are usually worn by people who do not want to be recognised.
Covid is a social justice issue, especially now that governments have abandoned us in favour of “you do you” policies that leave the vulnerable by the wayside

Wearing a mask is a form of resistance

It protects your health & the health of your community

It says you don’t view others as expendable

Yes, as I thought, very little indeed. Have you been a miserable little cock sucker all your life, or have you been in training?

Er, what? Why was Graham Linehan @glinner.bsky.social arrested by armed police at Heathrow airport? Did he:
A. Steal a plane?
B. Commit a teroristic atrocity?
C. Smuggle ketamine into the country?
D. Have to be removed from the plane shouting obscenities at passers-by?
E. Send a tweet?

I went to the doctors to get the snip because I had decided I don't want children. But when I got home they were still there.

First concert I ever went to without my parents, I was 14. First time I headbanged.

RIP Ozzy Osborne xxx

I have a lump on my neck. My GP said send me a photo. I did. He said "it's a sebaceous cyst". I sent the photo to Chatgpt and asked "what's this?" Chatgpt said "it's a sebaceous cyst". I don't need to get an appointment with Chatgpt.

I know that it's terribly unfashionable, but I haven't been so bookish (as I currently am) since the early 90s. And the old fashioned type of book too - made of paper.

I just read Katie Hopkins has endorsed Nigel Farage and his Reform party. Hands up anyone who gives a monkeys.

I have just finished reading 'The Wager' by @davidgrann. I am quite sure it is the best book I have read for a very long time indeed!

What is going on? I voted Labour because I wanted a Labour Government. I didn't vote for Conservative- lite.

I agree with Diane Abbott. A wealth tax is needed.

I gave a Twitter account and I only follow right wing commentators. It's pretty depressing. Yes, I also follow Elon.

It will do wonders for you.

I had a farm in a remote valley in France for 7 years. No TV or internet. Village 'news' @ the Boulangerie. Occasional long wk-ends in a city to explore it and to 'connect'. Those days off-grid and unconnected literally changed my body, head, soul, and heart. Bliss.

I'm going to stop reading the news. I stopped watching it some time ago. Actually, I want to go back to the time when all anybody knew was what was happening in their village.

I'm just watching a YouTube where a couple are taking a 1.5 hour train journey out of Rome. €4 each!

'Chewing-gum' by Amyl and The Sniffers is the best tune so far this year, I think.

Just saying...

Just bought some superglue. It's for a shoe. But it doesn't matter. I will always glue my finger to whatever I'm gluing, or near to what I'm gluing. Just one of my many talents.

My much better half is visiting and helping out her parents. She will set off back v soon - 1.5 hours on the M1. I cannot stop myself telling her to be careful and that I love her, before she sets off. I have seen horrors on motorways. I worry, am I being morbid?

I just despair at the hypocrisy of it all, and I nievelly presumed the former director of public prosecutions would be far beyond that sort of grubby behaviour.
It doesn't matter which country, or which party. The acceptance of gifts by politicians always was and always will be bribery and corruption.
“I'm from Singapore. Our transport minister got arrested and is about to go on trial for accepting gifts and tickets…

I'm astounded at the shamelessness and the amount of mental gymnastics that Labour politicians are doing to defend and justify themselves.”

Comment I saw. Touché. #UKPolitics

I saw Jodie Comer in Prima Facie last night. I still cannot stop thinking about it. Jodie Comer might be the best actor I've ever seen.

I visited my grandad in hospital and smeared his back with lard. After that he went downhill very quickly.

Turns out not only am I the only person in the restaurant who didn't know what gnocchi is. Correction, the planet.
