Looks like Trump and Hegseth might be preparing to throw the military under the bus on the second strike.

This is why you don’t execute illegal orders. Because you are responsible

For 36 years, leaders from both parties have recognized this day. But this year, Donald Trump didn’t think it was even worth a few minutes of his time. Instead, his administration is slashing lifesaving funding and stripping essential resources from the very people who depend on them.

Reporter: Does the administration deny that that second strike happened or did it happen and the administration denies that Hegseth gave the order

Leavitt: The latter is true

If the US can do whatever it wants to whomever it wants with no regard for human rights, the Geneva Convention, US law, the UCMJ, or international law, then we are no different than Vladimir Putin and Russia, who I suppose was the role model for Trump foreign policy doctrine.

And the simple fact of the matter is that Hegseth was always headed this way, as prior to entering government he had spent the last 10 years of his life advocating for American war criminals and making clear his belief that he does not believe in the concept of a war crime at all

Pete Hegseth is a straight-up serial killer

No asterisk, no caveat, he simply orchestrated—multiple times on multiple dates—a criminal conspiracy to murder unarmed persons who the U.S. military code deemed incapacitated and not a threat and then went online and admitted to doing it knowingly

How bloody convenient. His words & moves make the shooting more suspicion imho. Indirectly dt’s responsible, but wouldn’t discount this WH being directly responsible. Imagine a special “envoy” visits this guy with a choice: a “mission” in lieu of deportation back 2Afghanistan. It is what it is.

Assuming every boat Trump and Hegseth blew up contained the amount of drugs they claim, Hernandez was responsible for bringing more drugs into the US than every one of them had combined. By far. And yet, Trump murders 80+ people and counting while pardoning the narco kingpin.

I'm not saying Trump wanted him in America to shoot people. I'm saying Trump granted asylum in 2025 because he'd been fully vetted, and Trump supported the program that brought Afghan allies to America in 2021. I'm absolutely *not* suggesting some conspiracy theory that Trump organized the shooting.
